Request for support must be received by Friday, January 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Organizations will be notified of funding decisions after February 28, 2026.
Criteria and Process
The Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation (VBRF) grant process for nonprofits is reviewed once a year. Applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by the VBRF Board of Directors. Applying for a grant or sponsorship does not guarantee that a grant will be awarded.
Guidelines & Eligibility:
The VBR Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that align with our mission statement: The Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation supports initiatives focused on creating attainable housing solutions for all, and works in collaboration with community organizations to cultivate housing opportunity for all Eagle County residents.
We want to support all non-profit organizations in our community, but funding is limited and determined by the following criteria
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, as defined by the IRS.
- Funds must remain in Eagle County and benefit the local community.
- Grants and sponsorships should align with our mission statement: “initiatives focused on creating attainable housing solutions for all and cultivating housing opportunity for all Eagle County residents."
- Show evidence of a demonstrated commitment to the VBR Foundation’s strategic objectives;
- Support the local community in Eagle County;
- Housing-related programs.
All donation requests are reviewed by the VBR Foundation Board of Directors and are based on available funds.
Typical grant requests range from $250–$5,000
The VBR Foundation will not award a donation for:
- Individuals;
- Organizations that request funds for salaries;
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, age, sex, disability, marital status, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, and national or ethnic origin.
All applications will be provided to the VBR Foundation for review.
