The Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation was established in 1996 to help promote community efforts for the Vail Board of Realtors®. Today their mission is: To assist the community and association members with need based financial assistance, not-for-profit support, education and disaster relief.

The Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation (VBRF) grant process for nonprofits is now open. 

Guidelines & Eligibility:
The Vail Board of REALTORS® Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that: Support the local community in Eagle County. We want to support all non-profits organizations in our community, but funding is limited and determined by the following criteria.

  • Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, as defined by the IRS.
  • Funds must remain in Eagle County and benefit the local community.
  • Grants and sponsorships should align with our mission statement: “To assist the community and association members with need-based financial assistance, not-for-profit support, education, and disaster relief.”
  • Show evidence of a demonstrated commitment to the Foundation’s strategic objectives;
  • Supporting the local community in Eagle County;
  • Promote educational programs;
  • Provide disaster relief assistance at the local, state, or federal level;
  • Housing-related programs.
  • All donation requests will be reviewed by the VBR Foundation Board of Directors and are based on available funds.
  • Typical grant request range from $250 –$5,000

The Vail Board of REALTORS Foundation (VBRF) has announced the recipients of its annual scholarship program. The scholarship has more than doubled in its second year, with pdf five recipients in 2018 (1.57 MB)  and pdf twelve scholars in 2019 (1.43 MB) .

The qualifications to receive a scholarship are based on academic merit, volunteer and philanthropic involvement, and residency in Eagle County. Each recipient was awarded $2,000 to attend a college, university, or accredited educational institution of higher learning. The honorees will attend a mix of institutions around the United States and Colorado. Read more

Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation is a recipient in Colorado Gives Day - an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. 

Colorado Gives Day is once per year, but you can support VBR Foundation year-round through our online giving website.
